The Main-Taunus-Zentrum hosts a festive Christmas shopping experience for its visitors for one month every year.
Little elves, fair-haired angels and personal Christmas shopping assistants create the perfect holiday mood and a truly unique shopping experience at Hesse’s largest shopping center during the merry month of December. The campaign is an integral part of an extensive annual event schedule managed by ITMS for the Frankfurt-based shopping mall.
ITMS ushers shoppers into Christmas mood at Main-Taunus-Zentrum
Elaborate theme decorations, 170 retailers and a German Christmas market welcome visitors on an extensive shopping expedition. Holiday music, sparking lights, ornaments and daily entertainment create the perfect holiday mood during the most wonderful time of year.
The Main-Taunus-Zentrum, part of Europe’s leading shopping mall network group ECE, initially retained ITMS in 2014 to conceptualize and implement an extensive holiday campaign to woo more shoppers to the Frankfurt-based mall. The initiative was an immediate hit with consumers and has since become an annual event.
A team of 15 agency elves ensure that shoppers have time to shop by making life as easy as possible for them. Gifts are nicely decorated and carefully packaged. The gift wrapping helpers have a large selection of high-quality gift wrapping paper and ribbons to give every present an individual touch. While the service is free, the shopping center is happy to accept donations to the Main Taunus Foundation and the Leberecht Foundation. Personal Christmas assistants are always on call to help shoppers with any of their shopping needs, point them in the right direction, or to help parents find their lost children.
Not that the kids are ever really lost at the mall. An extensive holiday program for kids assures that their parents can shop in peace while children aged 5 to twelve bake Christmas cookies with some of Santa’s helpers. Kids can also tell the Christkind, the traditional Christmas gift-bringer in Germany, their gift wishes. And to make sure that the littlest ones don’t get bored while their parents or older siblings shop, there’s an onsite child care center open every day.
