Anticipating a radical transformation in the energy industry, Bad Nauheim’s city utilities, is reinventing its business model, creating new products and services, and transforming the company in the process. Our task: develop ads and slogans for campaigns, create marketing collateral for a portfolio of new services and handle the activation of a sports sponsorship to promote the brand’s new positioning. By placing strong emphasis on fully understanding our client’s audiences and services, we developed powerful content and designs that bring out the value-added attributes important to the company’s audiences.
Stadtwerke Bad Nauheim’s new services include fiber optic cabling for homes and businesses, IPTV and IP-telephony solutions, cold district heating networks, solar energy, sustainable and renewable energy for homes, and much more. By creating expressive graphics and easy-to-understand content, we accentuated the advantages in engaging fashion, making the services easy to understand for consumers.

Positioning the brand to connect with different target audiences and specific types of consumers requires a very personalized approach. By using real service staff and a variety of people in the layouts, we help humanize the brand while communicating the services in an engaging way.
Together with the client, we defined consumer engagement as one of the strategic areas of focus. To trigger positive emotions at events, our Illustrators developed cartoon characters that portray four key services – internet, electricity, water and gas. The figures proved popular on different giveaways.
Experiential events allow Stadtwerke Bad Nauheim to attract a wider audience from the target market. Engagement with customers plays an important role at the events. We developed the branding and equipment, and created activities to elevate the brand-consumer relationship.
We drew upon on the energy, passion and enthusiasm of the fans to successfully activate the sponsorship of Bad Nauheim’s DEL2 hockey team. Activations included themed ads, diverse promotions, a branded free internet service, and a series of video spots that continually play on the stadium’s LED screen.
