For the fourth consecutive year, ITMS’ PR team attended this year’s ITB in Berlin, the world’s largest tourism trade fair, to showcase its client Qatar Airways, one of the fastest growing airlines with of one of the youngest fleets in the aviation industry.
Joined by 250 journalists, the Bad Nauheim agency once again recorded an increase in attendance of the airline’s press conference compared to previous years.
At ITB, more than 170,000 visitors attended over 11,000 exhibitions from roughly 18 countries featuring current issues in the tourism industry. The expansive crowd on the first day of the fair eagerly awaited the unveiling of Qatar Airway’s new business class, QSuite. ITMS was able to win over the mayor of Berlin, Michael Mueller, and the ambassador of Qatar in Germany His Excellency Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani along with other industry leaders for this special moment.
The press conference held after the unveiling informed media about the revolutionary QSuite. Worldwide, press reported on how the new Business Class sets a new standard for business travel, sighting the patented and innovative design showcased at the trade fair. Offering the industry’s first double bed, the new setup affords travellers adjustable dividers and televisions, allowing joint travellers private space. These new features provide passengers to create an environment unique to each individual travellers needs.
