“Sharing is Caring” is the motto under which Taiwan’s state trade organization is launching a global campaign to support innovative ideas aimed at driving social change.
As a long-standing partner for the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), ITMS will support the campaign through media relations and promotional initiatives in Germany.
“Our agency has enjoyed a positive association with Taiwan for 15 years and we are always happy to successfully implement marketing activities in diverse industries to promote Taiwan Excellence,” states ITMS Project Manager Roman Bauch. “Sustainability plays an increasingly significant role in corporate communications. With our expertise in CSR communications, we are happy to support TAITRA’s first global cross-year large-scale charity initiative.”
The project involves the successful activation of the Sharing is Caring campaign, which provides a platform for would-be philanthropists to present their ideas in the areas of social welfare and environmental protection, combined with environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG). As part of the project, social institutions, non-governmental organizations and private individuals are invited to participate and present the causes they would like to see developed in their countries. The creative initiatives should include Taiwan Excellence products and services and be designed to specifically aid the local environment and society. TAITRA’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative is being launched globally to harness the power of collective enthusiasm, expertise, and technology.
After a pre-selection process by a selection committee, the top twelve proposals will be posted on the campaign website and made available for public vote. The top three winners will be awarded a grant of 10,000 USD for their ideas. An execution stipend of $150,000 will also be covered to realize each of the #SharingIsCaring Taiwan Excellence campaign ideas.
Interested parties have two months starting September 1 to submit their ideas. Winners will be announced after public voting closes on Jan. 30, 2022.
